1. Electronics, including computers, should be handled with care. If possible, repack them in the original boxes before storing them. If you don't, individually wrapping the products in bubble wrap, packing them in boxes, and closing the top will provide good protection.
2. Keep in mind that box gaps should be avoided. Pictures, frames, vinyl records, etc. should be packed on their edges (standing up) to avoid warping or pressure damage over time. 
3. Remove any batteries from electronics to avoid damage, as dry cells leak easily.

Computers and Electronics

1. Keep large, heavy items toward the back of your area. Then place smaller items on top. 
2. Put the items that you frequently need in an easy-to-reach location.
3. Please make enough room to access your belongings.
4. Please use the appropriate storage to store and unload your belongings. SimpanAja provides storage needs on-site or sends them to your place. 
5. Please use high-quality materials to keep belongings in good condition.

General Tips

1. Place packing paper at the bottom and top of cartons containing fragile items.
2. For glassware such as cups, plates, bowls, containers, etc. by wrapping them individually in packing paper (avoid using newsprint as it will discolor the item) then cover with bubble wrap. SimpanAja provides bubble wrap at the storage facility.
3. Fill in the gap between objects with packing boxes to prevent glassware from dispersing during the transfer process.
4. Please provide information for glassware and avoid piled up with other heavy items.

Kitchen Items

To avoid curved edges, place the photo frame between the cardboard pieces and glue it down.

Please keep in mind that images are heat sensitive; however, SimpanAja provides 24/7 climate control to keep your memories from spoiling in warm weather.

Photographs Storage

1. To protect the shelves and structure in the longterm. All wardrobes, drawers, and cabinets should clear of their contents.
2. Please remove the legs part of furniture, such as bed bases, tables to minimize damage and save more space. 
3. Chairs can be stacked to save space and cover them for extra protection. 
4. Clothing and personal items (wardrobe and garments) should be put in strong, secure containers with some naphthalene or mothballs to protect to maintain their condition over time.
5. To prevent bacteria growth, please place the garments in a plastic bag and seal it.
6. Please vacuum the sofa from any residual food crumbs. However, we will do regular pest control.
7. Place covers when storing upholstered products, e.g., mattresses and sofas, for extra protection.
8. For mattresses, lay a protective sheet on top before placing them in a standing position to maintain its condition.
9. Please remove the lampshade and wrap it for extra protection.
